Masala Corn Sweet corn kernels and corn on the cob cooked with chilli, garlic, ginger, onion and peanuts. Enhanced with a blend of spices, coconut cream and fenugreek simmered in a thick sauce. A hit with local residents!

Channa Palak (v) Chickpeas & spinach cooked in spicy masala sauce.

Mini Aloo (v) New potatoes stuffed with spices, peanuts, chilli, garlic & ginger cooked in tomato puree with dash of cream. Really tasty!

Baby Bhaigan (v) Baby aubergines filled with spices and ground peanuts cooked in tomato gravy containing garlic, chilli and ginger (fairly dry but very delicious)

Aloo Bhaigan (v) Potato and aubergine cooked with chilli, garlic & spices in tomatoes.

Bhaigan Bhartha (v) Roasted aubergine cooked with onion, chilli, ginger and garlic. Garnished with coriander.

Saag Aloo Spinach and mustard leaves pureed & infused with delicate spices cooked with potato.

Saag Paneer Mustard leaves, spinach & Indian cheese cooked with a little tomato, onion, garlic & ginger.

Bhindi Masala Lady fingers (okra) cooked with onion, peppers, ginger, tomatoes and delicate spices.

Kofta Curry Mixed vegetable dumplings cooked in a thick sauce made from tomatoes and spices.

Channa Dhal (v) Split chick pea lentil cooked with onions, garlic, chilli, ginger and spices, garnished with coriander. Always a favourite!

Mung beans Dhal (v) Prepared and cooked in a similar way to the Channa Dhal. Earthy taste but again yummy!

Toovar Dhal (v) Pureed dhal (soup consistency) tempered with curry leaves, clove, cinnamon, cumin, mustard seeds, ginger and chilli. Simmered in tomato puree & garnished with coriander. A real Gujarati classic!

Mixed Dhal (v) Yellow, orange & black lentils with black eyed beans, cooked in the same way as the channa dhal.

Chora (v) Black eyed beans cooked with onions, garlic, chilli & ginger paste and tomatoes

Cannellini beans. (v) Tempered with cumin, mustard seeds and garlic. A favourite with my kids!

Rajma (v) Kidney beans tempered with onions, tomatoes and spices. Yummy!

Mushroom Masala (v) Mushrooms cooked in onions, garlic, ginger, chilli and tomatoes. Simple but nice!
